An Evening of Connection, Sharing, and Cultural Unity

During the holy month of Ramadan, ICMorocco e.V. had the honor of organizing a special Iftar evening together with the Consulate General of Morocco in Frankfurt — an evening that went far beyond simply sharing a meal.

It was a moment of genuine connection.
A moment where people from different backgrounds, cultures, and life stories came together around one table to speak, laugh, and share a sense of humanity.

In Moroccan culture, Ramadan carries profound values: community, gratitude, hospitality, and solidarity. Through this evening, we wanted to bring these values closer to our German fellow citizens — not only through words, but through atmosphere, encounters, and the feeling of truly being welcome.

Between traditional Moroccan cuisine, heartfelt conversations, and an atmosphere of openness, something meaningful emerged: human closeness. Many guests discovered the beauty of Moroccan traditions for the very first time. Others recognized shared human values that transcend language and origin.

For us, this shared Iftar was a symbol of how cultural dialogue begins: when people meet each other with openness and respect. Especially in times where differences are often emphasized, we believe in creating spaces that unite rather than divide.

We sincerely thank all guests, supporters, and everyone involved who helped make this evening possible.
Because true connection is not created through grand speeches, but through sincere moments that remain in people’s hearts.
