ICMorocco e.V. and the Role of the Moroccan Diaspora at the Medical Device Day

On the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Medical Device Day (MDD), organized by the Fédération Marocaine des Industries de la Santé under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the federation awarded its first Merit Prize to the Société Marocaine Biomédicale (SMB).

This distinction recognizes the commitment and contribution of SMB to the development of health technologies, continuous training, and the promotion of innovation in the biomedical sector in Morocco. Through its activities, congresses, scientific conferences, and training programs, SMB actively contributes to strengthening healthcare quality and the Kingdom’s health sovereignty.

This edition of the MDD was also marked by the participation of ICMorocco e.V., the only organization representing the Moroccan diaspora present at the event. The association was represented by its chairman, Wassim Berrak, who highlighted the strategic importance of the Moroccan diaspora, particularly in the transfer of know-how, the sharing of expertise, and investment in the field of medical technologies and the healthcare industry.
