A new agreement aims to bring together private investors and state organizations to promote cultural and creative industries.
Fez - The Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication signed a framework agreement to bolster cooperation in the development of Morocco’s cultural and creative industries. The January 27 agreement will aid in providing professional support for cultural opportunities and events in Morocco.
The landmark signing of the agreement was attended by Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed El-Mahdi Bensaid, and Neila Tazi, President of the ad hoc committee of the Federation of Cultural and Creative Industries (FICC) belonging to the General Confederation of Enterprises (CGEM).
This agreement is intended to enhance public-private collaboration to support the development of Morocco's cultural and creative sector. It also intends to improve the cultural infrastructure and work toward making culture work "professional."
This agreement is intended to be the foundation for developing legal and fiscal schemes for cultural enterprises.
